| We love your name! What does it mean? Where does it come from?
Anezka is a Checkoslovakian name and means, "pure." Anezka translates to "Agnes" in english and to "Anais" in french.
Another famous Anezka was Anezka of Bohemia. Anezka, a Bohemian princess, was bethrothed as an infant to the Emperor of Germany. She didn't love him so Anezka jilted him, gave up her crown and wealth and built her own mission in Prague where she lived a long, healthy life in service of the poor and ill.
Considering she lived in the 1200's, Anezka of Bohemia was a remarkably strong, intelligent and courageous woman. Today, that Anezka is a celebrated Catholic saint. Our Anezka is a beloved Superstar.
